Welcome to The Gathering Place, a spacious lodge in Island Park, Idaho designed for exactly what the name suggests — bringing people together. Located about 40–45 minutes from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this large cabin is a perfect home base for family reunions, multi-family vacations, fishing trips, snowmobile adventures, and Yellowstone exploring. With 6 bedrooms and space for up to 26 guests, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together. The large kitchen and dining areas make it easy to cook meals for a crowd, share stories from the day’s adventures, and plan tomorrow’s Yellowstone outing. After a long day exploring the park, fishing the famous Henry’s Fork, or riding the nearby ATV and snowmobile trails, come back and relax. Soak in the hot tub under Idaho’s wide starry sky, play a game of pool in the game room, or gather around the fire pit outside. There’s space here for kids to play, adults to relax, and everyone to reconnect. The property sits on a large lot in Island Park with room to breathe and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you’re visiting in summer for Yellowstone wildlife and river adventures, or winter for world-class snowmobiling, The Gathering Place offers a comfortable and welcoming basecamp for your trip. Many guests tell us their favorite part isn’t just Yellowstone — it’s the evenings spent together here after a day of adventure.
